Welcome!

AP World History is a rigorous, college-level course for 10th graders. We cover a huge time frame from 10,000 B.C.E. to modern day and learn about the history of all geographic regions from numerous cultural perspectives. The course involves significant reading and writing to prepare students for the AP examination and for future scholastic endeavors.

Logic / Academic Workshop is a class that teaches 9th graders the value of logic and how to apply logical thinking and reasoning skills to their everyday life. Three days a week we focus on logical reasoning, research, preparing an argument, and applying the researched arguments to debate, persuasive speaking and writing. Two days a week are spent on improving study skills and providing the students time for personal academic work.

About Me

I was born and raised in Gilbert and my family has been here since 1925. I am super proud to be a teacher in the Gilbert district and, especially, at Gilbert Classical Academy. I love all eras of history and became a teacher to try to inspire the same passion for history, politics, and learning in each of my students. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, reading, doing genealogical research, and spending time with my family.
