At Gilbert Classical Academy, our students are well educated and focused.
We strive to provide a quality academic program that educates and prepares our students academically but also ethically, socially, and physically as exemplary young citizens through the classical approach.

It is our goal to teach our students in a developmental and classical environment. Using the Socratic method of teaching, GCA uses a student-centered approach to challenge students to think critically, process information, and discuss in a collaborative, open-minded manner.

As part of our honors and Advanced Placement (AP) curriculum, we require our students to complete courses in the following subjects: Foreign Languages (Latin and Spanish), Music, and Community Service.

Our Mission and Vision
The Mission of the Gilbert Classical Academy is the development of young men and women of character who embrace a passion for learning, all built upon a solid foundation of knowledge and technology. The Classical Academy provides students with a rigorous, integrated curriculum in a small-school setting, utilizing the Socratic method of instruction to encourage students to think critically and prepare for study at the university level.

The Gilbert Classical Academy, in striving for academic excellence, seeks to provide a comprehensive, honors-level education that engages all students in meaningful learning and to develop the intellectual, creative, social, emotional, technological, and physical skills necessary to prepare them for the next phase of their lives at a four-year college or university.
